## Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Tip

**Do you integrate Maintenance Technician feedback into your Job Plans?**

Regardless of how sophisticated your Job Plans are, you should always solicit input from the people doing the work using a continuous improvement approach.  This is especially true if your organization is just starting out with Maintenance Planning or you have very basic Job Plans. One method that I have found successful to help accomplish this goal is to include a Work Order Feedback Form with the Job or Work Package.  Not only does the Work Order Feedback Form provide a mechanism for improvement, the form itself can be used to help educate the Maintenance Technicians on the information necessary for a great Job Plan. While I have seen some great Job Plans, I believe that a perfect Job Plan does not exist.  There is always the opportunity for continuous improvement with regards to the tasks, sequence, methods and so on.
